| "A
traditional style kitchen was exactly what I was looking for". |

A
stone extension, which is home to the client's new kitchen, was built to the
side of their cottage, leaving the original external wall exposed.
A stunning kitchen, yet sympathetic to the cottage, has been
achieved with a colour palette of muted greys and walnut mixed with a slate
floor.
Every inch of space has been cleverly utilised in the
scheme ensuring the clients wants and needs were catered for.
The larder fridge is just one of the
fully integrated appliances that give the kitchen a clean, streamlined look,
while the larder stores all of the kitchen paraphernalia with the drawers below
for pan storage. Even the boiler has been concealed within a cabinet, so as not
to spoil the lines of the kitchen. |

The
cabinet interiors and drawers were manufactured in Ash and finished with a
walnut stain to match the solid walnut work surfaces.
The chef's bench with it's solid walnut top and slated shelf
base, stands on lockable casters, ideal for manouvering around the kitchen and
can also double up as a breakfast bar.
