| Q. |
What sort of
budget should I allow for my kitchen? |
| A. |
This is one
of the most difficult questions to answer. All we can do it give you a feel for
our prices within the market, because every project we undertake is unique and
therefore costed individually.
The cost
of a project is not directly related to the size of a room, but to the level of
cabinetry required, appliances etc within it. The majority of our kitchen
projects fall within a price bracket of around £30,000 - £50,000 +,
with bedrooms and dressing rooms around the £15,000
mark.
The figures are of course based
upon an average spend and are purely speculative, but will give you an
indication of where we stand. |
| Q. |
What are
your lead times? |
| A. |
Usually 12
weeks from order, although this can vary throughout the year depending upon our
workload. |
| Q. |
How long
does the installation take? |
| A. |
Again this
can vary depending upon the size of the project, but we average 2 weeks for a
kitchen, plus any building alterations, electrical, tiling and
painting. |
| Q. |
What are
your payment terms? |
| A. |
30%
Deposit 65% Upon delivery 5% Balance upon completion Appliances are to be paid for in full, prior to ordering.
[usually 6 weeks before installation date] |
| Q. |
Do we get a
copy of the plans and drawings? |
| A. |
Plans and
drawings are only released once an order has been placed and a deposit
paid. |
| Q. |
What types
of wood do you use? |
| A. |
We use only
the finest materials available from sustainable sources only and can buy
virtually any type of wood. The most popular woods are Tulipwood for painted
furniture, Ash, Maple, Walnut, Cherry and European Oak. |
| Q. |

paint the furniture? |
| A. |
Yes. We have
a specialist painter who will hand paint your finished kitchen, bedroom or
furniture to a colour specified by you from the Farrow & Ball
range. |
| Q. |
Do you
supply appliances? |
| A. |
Yes. Matthew

such as Viking, Wolf and Sub-Zero, as well as many other quality appliances
including Falcon, Britannia, Rangemaster, Siemens, and Miele.
|
| Q. |
Can I source
my own appliances? |
| A. |
If you search
the web, you may be able to find the appliances we recommend slightly cheaper,
but our ability to ensure delivery and the correct model at the correct time
far outweighs the price difference. We also include a charge for fitting the
appliance into your kitchen - a price we will still have to charge you if you
order your own appliances. |
| Q. |
Do you make
any other types of furniture? |
| A. |
Yes. We undertake projects for virtually any room in your home, such as, home
cinema furniture, studies, dinning tables etc. |

you travel? |
| A. |
The majority
of our work is within a 20-25 mile radius. Although further distances would be
considered. |
