| Q. |
How much does one
your kitchens cost? |
| A. |
Every kitchen is
designed individually and therefore the cost varies, but to give you an idea
our customers typically spend £25,000 upwards, excluding appliances and
any building or electrical work. |
| Q.
|
What are your lead
times? |
| A. |
Usually 12 weeks
from order, although this can vary throughout the year depending upon our
workload. |
| Q. |
How do you
work? |
| A. |
Every
commission begins with a visit from Mike, where you will receive his undivided
attention, expertise and the benefit of over 30 years experience in cabinet
making. |
|
He
will discuss your project, measure, take a note of any period detailing and get
a general feel for the room. But most of all, he will listen, which is your
chance to say exactly what you want. |
|
Based
upon that discussion, we will produce a scaled plan and drawings together with
an indication of costs. Presentation of the these takes places at our showroom
with Anna, where any amendments can be made if necessary. |
|
Once a
design has been agreed, you will be asked to sign a contract and leave an
initial deposit in order to secure an installation date and release a copy of
the plans/drawings. |
|
Your
furniture will then be scheduled for manfacturer, which is undertaken at our
premises in Oldham. |
|
The
furniture will be installed by our highly skilled fitters with the whole
project being overseen by Mike. |
| Q.
|
How long does the
installation take? |
| A. |
Again this can
vary depending upon the size of the project, but we average 2 weeks for a
kitchen, plus any building alterations, electrical, tiling and
painting. |
| Q.
|
What are your
payment terms? |
| A. |
30%
Deposit 65% Upon delivery 5% Balance upon completion Appliances are to be paid for in full, prior to ordering.
[usually 6 weeks before installation date] |
| Q.

| Q.
|
Which
worktop? |
| A. |
Work surfaces come
in many different materials all of which have their own practical and aesthetic
qualities.
|
| Granite is
an extremely hard and durable natural material, making it very practical and
desirable in a working kitchen. Is available in many colours and
patterns. |
| Corian is a
subtle blend of natural minerals and clear acrylic and is available in over 50
colours. It is naturally hygenic, versatile and has a smooth
texture. |
| Timber not
only looks beautiful and will add a touch of warmth to any kitchen, but is also
tough. However, it does require a little more care and maintenance than Granite
and Corian. |
| Slate is
often associated with a rustic and rugged look, however, the best slate can be
more versatile. The smooth finish and classic colours will adapt to any style,
surface and situation. Quarried in Cumbria and being a natural material the
colour and markings are subject to variation. |
| Silestone is
a low maintainence and hygenic worksurface that has the benefit of Microban
built in. |
|
There are other
work surfaces too, such as concrete, glass and Quartz stone. |
| Q.
|
How far do you
travel? |
| A. |
The majority of
our work is within a 15-20 mile radius. Although further distances would be
considered. |
