"After two years of building and designing our dream home, I wanted a truly extravagant bedroom"

The original architect's plans designed this space as two good sized bedrooms, but as there were enough bedrooms for the family and guests, the plans were altered to create this vast master bedroom, complete with en-suite and dressing room.

This dramatic room was designed exclusively for the client to their specific requirements and is unlike any other we have designed before.

As you enter the room, a large oak cabinet sits against the wall concealling the television and a small fridge. The large sofa divides the room and creates a sitting area where you can relax, watch a little television and even enjoy a Gin & Tonic before you retire for the evening.

While at the far end of the room, the bed is framed by roman columns that sit upon two large bedsides. On top of which sits an overhead feature with a broken pediment and opulent lighting. Behind the bed is a soft upholstered headboard using the same fabric as the curtains. It is surrounded by fluted pillars and topped with a broken pediment to mirror the one above.

The plaster columns have been hand painted by our Artist to create the marble effect, while the cream cabinets have been finished with a subtle aged effect.
