"We were looking to create a room that would provide us with a tranquil and restful haven" This old farmhouse was full of character and required bedroom furniture which would be sympathetic to the room. The old timber lintels above the windows wanted to be seen - not covered by curtains - so we designed traditional style shutters which were hand painted in the same colour as the bedroom furniture. Oak handles and tops were used to compliment the oak flooring giving a suble contrast against the cream.
