A Contemporary kitchen in a Cheshire
Home
Working
closely with the clients own Interior Designer, the owner wanted all our
cabinet making skills but not the 'usual' Matthew James
style.
The
kitchen had to be practical and functional first and foremost, but was also
required to cater for entertaining. A shaker style kitchen was the chosen
design with a chrome bar handle to give it a contemporary look.
The combination of handmade Cherry
shaker style furniture with stainless steel, etched glass and a clever lighting
scheme makes a stunning addition to this Cheshire kitchen and is unlike any
other kitchen we have worked on before.
The shaker style design with chrome bar handles and Juperano
granite work surfaces provides the perfect balance between traditional and
contemporary. With a large range cooker, two individual sink bowls, a Perrin
& Rowe Oberon mixer tap and a host of design storage features, such as
magic corners, pull out larders and stainless steel sided pan drawers, the
kitchen provides ample storage and an abundance of preparation area with the
island being a central workstation.
It's
the perfect setting for cooking and entertaining with a stainless steel side by
side, fridge/freezer, steam oven, coffee machine and every built in appliances
you could think of. |
