A traditional kitchen style with hand painted and
Oak furniture
We'd
worked with Matthew James before when they did our Bedroom several years ago,
so there was no question of who was doing our
kitchen.
The
main priority for my new kitchen was to have more workspace, as I'd spent the
past 10 years working in a corner in between my sink and hob!
I gave Anna
my wish list for my new kitchen, which included a double oven, large hob,
dishwasher, microwave, pull outs, filter tap and a hot water tap, but also
included a real treat for me, a coffee machine. Armed with the information she
set about the design.
The style was a traditional kitchen with a combination of
hand painted and Oak kitchen furniture. The layout was perfect and with just a
few little tweeks, we were there.
We'd chosen to have 40mm granite in
River Valley White rather than the standard 30mm and even visited the granite
wholesaler to select it. We opted to have two differnt colours using Pigeon for
the base cabinets and James White for the wall cabinets with Bone on the walls,
all from the Farrow & Ball collection finishing with Amtico floor tiles.
Matthew
James did everything for us from the electrics to the final decorating finish.
They project managed the whole process, which meant no hassle for us. The
attention to detail is second to none and we are absolutely thrilled with our
new kitchen and have received many wonderful comments from friends and family.
